24/7 emergency roof repair
Leak coming through the ceiling at night? Tiles gone after a storm? We are open 24/7 with emergency call-outs across Brighton and the south coast.
When to call us out of hours
A roof problem at 2am does not feel like it can wait until Monday, and often it cannot. We are open 24/7 with emergency call-outs, so call 07418 349179 and tell us what is happening. We will explain what we can do and when.
Typical emergencies we deal with include:
- Water coming through a ceiling or down a wall
- Tiles or slates blown off or slipped in a storm
- A leaking flat roof
- Damaged or loose lead flashing, ridge tiles or chimney pointing
- Fallen or hanging guttering and downpipes
What to do while you wait
- Stay safe. Do not climb onto the roof yourself, especially in wind or rain.
- Catch the water. Put a bucket or tray under drips and move furniture and belongings out of the way.
- Watch the electrics. If water is near light fittings or sockets, keep clear of that area, and switch off the electricity at the consumer unit if it is safe to do so.
- If a ceiling is bulging with water, keep people away from it and call us straight away.
- Take photos from the ground or inside the house if it is safe. They help us, and your insurer if you decide to claim.
If anyone is in danger, or there is a risk of a structural collapse, call 999 first.
What happens next
Our priority in an emergency is to stop water getting in. Depending on the damage and the weather, that may mean a temporary repair to make the roof watertight, with the full repair planned for a time that suits you. We will explain the options before we start, and send you a clear quote for any further work.
